ILLUMINATION – Purpose and Function of Secret Societies & The End of Mardukite Transparency (A New Babylonian Illuminati?)

“ALL THINGS OUGHT NOT TO BE DECLARED TO ALL MEN” reads the back of the latest public release from the Mardukite Truth Seeker Press, the tercentenary edition of John Toland’s PANTHEISTICON, enhanced and annotated by Joshua Free, known for his emphasis of the Welsh Bardic Druids motto: The Truth Against The World.

“To know the Truth is one thing, to tell it others is another thing: and as all men profess to admire the first, so few men practice the last as they ought. At the same time the Truth is owned to be more valuable than wealth or honor, there are by most without hesitation preferred before it, which appears not only by their eager application to procure riches and titles, while they abandon the study of Truth, or faintly pursue it.”
PANTHEISTICON (CLIDOPHORUS EXCERPT)

Mixed and curious reactions were raised this month when modern Mardukite Director, Joshua Free, announced a progressive shift in the future operations of the organization toward “esoteric” development among a new “advanced” “Order” from within the Mardukite Research Organization, drawing from the “best” and “highest” axioms, aphorisms and philosophies actually underlying all of the “outer circle” materials published by Joshua Free (under various names) since the mid-1990’s.

#pantheisticon

“…no room was left for the propagating of Truth, except at the expense of a man’s life, or at least of his honor and employments, whereof numerous examples may be alleged. The Philosophers therefore, and other well-wishers to mankind in most nations, were constrained by this holy tyranny to make use of a two-fold doctrine; the one popular, accommodated to the masses, prejudices of the vulgar, and to the received customs or religions: the other philosophical, conformable to the nature of things, and consequently to Truth; which, with doors fast shut and under all other precautions, they communicated only to friends of known probity, prudence and capacity.”
PANTHEISTICON (CLIDOPHORUS EXCERPT)

Established officially as an ‘underground parent organization’ in 2008, coinciding with the release of ARCANUM by Joshua Free, Mardukite Ministries governs worldwide operations of several divisions, including the “Mardukite Chamberlains” (Mardukite Research Organization) best known for the release of the NECRONOMICON ANUNNAKI LEGACY cycle of materials since 2009. Another division, the “NexGen Systemological Society,” launched in 2011 with its own “New Thought” materials such as REALITY ENGINEERING, in addition to overseeing both: the “Druid Archives” (publications including THE DRUID COMPLEAT cycle by Joshua Free and his forthcoming BOOK OF PHERYLLT Source-Book Anthology from Kima Books); and the “Moroii ad Vitam (Paramus)” (Mardukite Vampyre Academy) public launch in 2015, immortalized by Joshua Free’s VAMPYRE MAGICK anthology (including V: VAMPYRE’S BIBLE and CYBERNOMICON materials).

“There are two sorts of philosophy and science in the world, the one according to Truth, the other according to Opinion; keeping in mind the fallacious nature and uncertainty of the senses, which often represent things otherwise than they are in themselves, and must therefore be examined and corrected by true reason. From the senses arises opinion, and from reason, demonstration: on the former are huddled up the prejudices of the vulgar, following the bare appearance of things; on the latter are founded the axioms of the wise, who consider things as they are in themselves.”

“For example, Parmenides in his Exoterics (or books accommodated to the public taste) says ‘..fire and water are the beginning or principle of all things’, as if he had acknowledged the world to have been created: but that in his Esoterics (or books compiled according to the Truth) he says ‘the Universe is one, infinite, and immutable.’ Here not only the distinction of Exoterics and Esoterics is literally to be learned, but an example of it likewise alleged; namely, a beginning of things Exoterically, but Esoterically, the eternity and incorruptibility of the Universe.”
PANTHEISTICON (CLIDOPHORUS EXCERPT)

…and so we are at the crossroads of exoterica and esoterica, as Joshua Free explained in recent discussions with the “Mardukite Alumni” and “Council of Nabu-Tutu” concerning the progressive evolution and unfolding of the highest ideals of the pursuit on the path, marked previously by a “public demonstration” of “prodigious research and demonstration” of external applications of Truth and its varied patinas in the Ancient Mystery School throughout the books available by Joshua Free from the “Mardukite Truth Seeker Press” – to which very few people have truly explored to find the depths intended, and it is hardly ever the message by which it is packaged on the surface.

Just as we have “rebooted” the emphasis of early materials and Year-1 work again for newcomers during our 10TH ANNIVERSARY seasons, this clearly presents us with one more reason of need for an ‘inner’ “Secret Society” for those who genuinely over the past decade already used and explored the “Exoteric Mardukite Library” independently and are actually ready for something greater, meanwhile many people are still now only discovering their first steps and progressing or advancing their unfolding consciousness at their own pace. But… the time has come for some of us to charge ahead using the medium of an “Esoteric Mardukite Library” in supplemental exclusion. Unlike previous materials, these will be available ONLY via personal arrangement directly from the ‘Mardukite Offices’. Meanwhile, the exoteric map for others still remaining in our wake as some go forth toward the summit. All progress at their own rate. None are “left” behind. But likewise none can be thwarted on the upward progress of their own spiritual evolution and illumination. The Law of Balance will compensate – and the lips of wisdom will speak to ears of understanding!

“The Egyptians, like the Chaldean Babylonians, who were among the wisest of mortals, had a twofold doctrine: the one secret, and in that very respect ‘sacred’ and the other popular and consequently vulgar. Who is there, that is ignorant of their sacred letters, hieroglyphics, forms, symbols, enigmas, and fables? Far and near was spread the fame of the Egyptian Philosophy, ‘Concealing things under the appearance of fables,’ says Plutarch, ‘and in speeches that contained obscure indications and arguments of the Truth: which they themselves expressly declare, by placing sphynxes before most of their Temples; thus indicating that their doctrine concerning sacred things, consists in a sort of wisdom which is designedly perplexed, and lying hidden under studied veils.’”

PHERYLLT 3 – Completion of Pheryllt “Books of Fferyllt” Trilogy Series by Joshua Free

In ancient Keltia, the Druid Order consisted of learned ones, those educated in Bardic Arts: cosmology and spirituality, natural-native history and geology, legendary history of heroes and mythology, healing and botanical medicine, astrononmy and astronology, and of course ‘magic’ – all of which are hidden in lines of Bardic verse and the researches of those who study them. As primary preservers of Celtic and Druid Mysteries, it is no wonder that Bardic Druids were considered the transmitter or catalyst of -awen- the essence, Divine Spark or spirit of inspiration that the Greeks termed ‘gnosis’. It is to the ‘ebb and flow’ of the -awen field- that the magical and poetic genius of the Bard is attributed.

Preservation of ancient knowledge is key among all elite orders of the ages. This Ancient Mystery School is timeless and spans all places on Earth. Past mystical cultures often relied on elite orders of scribe-priests and poet-magicians to bridge ancestral roots and traditions with the future – orders rooted in ‘languages’, ‘communication’, and above all the written word. The poetic genius of “awen” – the Divine Spark of Creation – manifests throughout all creative arts and as the spirt of “prophecy,” an ability to observe experiences with a heightened awareness and communicate it in the World of Form. Druidism is, therefore, an echo of this “poetic genius,” an amalgamation of collected knowledge preserved by the ancient elite, including a mystical and scientific understanding of the world that eluded the perceptual range of ‘common’ folk.

PHERYLLT: Volume 2
PHERYLLT: Volume 3

A unique metaphysical apprenticeship combining diverse facets of knowledge – from practical magic, to Welsh Bardic tradition, to Celtic history, or even foreign philosophies assimilated by the Druids – all appear in Douglas Monroe’s Merlyn Trilogy under a premise of being derived from the Book of Pheryllt (or Books of Fferyllt); a collective ‘body’ of Druidic wisdom also called the Body of the Dragon. As such, a wide array of sources and subjects were required to develop an allegorical facsimile (but legitimately authentic) manifestation of the Book of Pheryllt consistent with the mysterious manner in which Bards and Druids conceal and reveal the secret tradition. Considering the sheer variety of citations and scattered references in Monroe’s work, meeting justifiably high requirements and expectations for the ‘Body of the Dragon’ would require more than one volume to be complete and follow protocols – actually three volumes: a TRIAD interwoven as ONE.

Many antiquated scholarly references to the “Books of Fferyllt” or the “Pheryllt” themselves may be found (included or paraphrased in the current Book of Pheryllt trilogy series facsmile). Whatever bits trickle down from classical literature and antiquarian druidism to satisfy a modern thirst for the ‘pheryllt paradigm’ have been collected together in one place – a sacred book once thirded and now made whole – forming a complete sourcebook of undefiled lore. Whatever name, guise, or title we might attribute to the ‘Body of the Dragon’ – and we have chosen PHERYLLT – this same lore (originally accessible to few) serves as basis for the majority of Celtic and neo-Druidic revival of the past few centuries; whether or not it has been given due credit as such.

PHERYLLT: Volume 1
PHERYLLT: Volume 2
PHERYLLT: Volume 3

Several different cycles of important Celtic and Welsh literature and lore – Hanes Taliesin, Cad Goddeu, the Gwarchans, Cymric Triads, the books of Aneurin, Taliesin, Myrddin… – are all found in the Iolo Manuscripts including the Myvyrian Archaeology anthology and Barddas. In fact, we can essentially trace the abundant wealth of surviving Welsh MS. – including the Mabinogion – back to “Iolo Morganwg” (Edward Williams) and manuscripts ascribed to “Llywelyn Sion.” Where a thick scholarly aura accumulated from years of controversy may surround the ‘authenticity’ of some of these manuscripts, valid substitution shortages have bound the modern revival specifically to these available texts and the tradition gleaned from them.

The Book of Pheryllt trilogy of volumes edited by Joshua Free (also collected together in one volume in the forthcoming “Pheryllt -or- Body of the Dragon” anthology to be released later this year) is the realization of a legendary tome collecting wisdom passed down from an equally legendary ‘priesthood’ known in the histories of the Druids as the PHERYLLT (pronounced FAIR-ee-llt or VAIR-ult) – those who resided in the ancient Snowdonian mountains of northern Wales. There, they inhabited an ‘ambrosial city’ named for its mysterious founder, PHARAON (FAR-ah-on), meaning ‘higher powers’ and possibly alluding to the ‘celestial’ authority of a “Pharaoh.” Perhaps it is the practice of “Druid Craft” to call down ‘higher powers’ to conjure inspiration and magic in the world – perhaps that is what Ceridwen is doing where Taliesin the Bard writes: – “She took to the crafts of the Books of Fferyllt to boil a cauldron of awen.” According to our modern ‘Neo-Pheryllt’ tradition, a manuscript known as the Book of Pheryllt exists from the 16th Century collection attributed to Llywelyn Sion of Glamorgan Wales. Along with its companion volume, Barddas, also purportedly by Llywelyn Sion, the manuscripts moved from the library of Owen Morgan (“Morian”) to the private collection of the Albion Lodge of the United Ancient Order of Druids in Oxford (an ancient stronghold of the Pheryllt Order noted by Ralph Waldo Emerson).

Ancient Mardukite Prophecies Fulfilled! 2017 New Year, New Babylon Rises! Nabu Gate & Marduk Temple

templemardukbanner

“In my city of Babylon — the Gateway of the Gods — my prophet-son resides, my hand he grasps. The King & Prophet enter as New Babylon Rises. In my city before me, my Temple shall be erected anew. In my city — in my temple — the ‘Temple Like a Mountain’ shall be renewed. The Dur-An-Ki plans are set. Until the End-of-Days, I shall be there in the ‘House in the Heights’ and at the End-of-Ages, my Stargate will be opened…”
–The Marduk Prophecies c.2017 BC

templemardukmodel Many chronicles exist of ancient Mesopotamia from cuneiform tablet annals and interpretations brought to the public from the Mardukite Research Organization & Publishing Group… but our efforts have never been restricted to purely academic or literary ventures. Complimenting the offbeat off-the-wall approach taken by our official spokesman, NABU JOSHUA FREE, our unique non-secular non-sectarian “organization” has conducted many esoteric occult and covert “experiments” in global reform, blatantly since 2008.

One such cumulative effort is the reestablishment of a New Babylon Rising — and here we are in the 40th Year of the New Age of Marduk (begun in 1977). We are in the same circumstances now, in 21st Century AD as we once were in the 21st Century BC and above all, the prophetic raising of the Marduk Temple and Nabu Gate for a New Age — a New Babylon Rising — is now upon us!

templemardukthenandnow

JUNE 2016Summer Solstice and 8th Anniversary of Mardukite Ministries — a late-model winnebago RV was obtained by the Mardukite Research Organization from SF Bay (Cali) to establish a mobile office for the Mardukite Publishing Company in addition to the NABU GATE & LIBRARY to a very real and physical MARDUK TEMPLE SANCTUARY for a New Babylonian Rising.

And this is only the beginning…

templemardukconstruction1

Mardukite Spokesman, NABU JOSHUA FREE and domestic partner CyberVamps DJ KYRA KAOS spent the entire Summer 2016 reconditioning the interior and exterior of the Mardukite RV to meet personal specifications for the Mardukite Office and the aqua blue hue appearance expected of a Marduk Temple.

templemardukshowcase During this reconstruction, citizens of Englewood Colorado and the EPD (Englewood Police Department) were less than tolerant of our work, in spite of our civic respectfulness. At one juncture, JOSHUA FREE was threatened by Englewood Police Department with imprisonment if the Marduk Temple were found on Englewood streets again. In spite of the posted signage indicating the work as a World Heritage Project, this fascist trend is expected to rise in Colorado as the influence of Denver’s Urban Camping Ban spreads.

templemardukrearview

Plans are still being developed for the NATIONAL MARDUKITE NEXGENCON scheduled for the August 2017 eclipse at Carhenge, Nebraska following a Wizards of the Wasteland spiritual retreat in the South Dakota Badlands. The Mardukite Nabu Gate & Temple of Marduk is expected to be the centralized icon of this event.

Further plans are in development for 2017 to acquire rural land designated as a NexGen Sanctuary for the future New Babylon Rising and of course, the Marduk Temple. The emphasis and purpose of this Sanctuary is to provide for the continued existence of Mardukite Chamberlains activities and survival of the Library of Nabu-Tutu archives for posterity.

TODAY… A NEW BABYLON is RISING!

Mesopotamian Wars Cover-Up: Ancient Anunnaki Sparked Illuminati World Order says Cuneiform Tablets

1184961_500931069976221_1664449295_n

“As above, so below; On earth, as it is in heaven.”(1)

Mesopotamian society remains scholarly recognized as the “cradle of civilization” for good reason. While many prehistoric and antediluvian remains are found prior to the invention of cuneiform script writing, it is the Sumerians who cultivated “World Order” for the first time in the history of modern humans, forever changing consciousness on the planet in accordance with it.

According to ancient Sumerian and Babylonian religious and spiritual texts, this “World Order” came from ‘above’ and was the decree of the ‘gods’ – the Anunnaki – a specifically unique group of beings appearing early on the scene of modern human evolution (even credited with accelerating the same). Simultaneously, the Anunnaki teach and install new ‘governing systems’ into their “World Order” – something that transformed the ancient world from the loosely tribal former standard of semi-nomadic hunter-gathering into the urbanization that has been the mindset of humanity ever since.

cuneisdgsdg an-bala ki-bala an-ba ki an-ba(2)
‘He who crosses the heavens, crosses the earth;
He who apportions the heavens, has apportioned the earth.’
(3)

Language in this verse remained cryptic and elusive to modern cuneiform transcribers in spite of its simplicity. The “reality” cues encompass all that exists in the Universe – both the heavens ‘an‘ and the earth ‘ki‘. When used separately these words indicate what is above and beneath us in the manifestation that we experience as reality. Likewise they could even be interpreted to represent all that is present, both seen or “physical” (ki) and unseen or “divine” (an). In fact the Sumerian word for all that there is in existence (or “Universe”) is actually the compound segment ‘an-ki‘.

SUMERIAN VOCABULARY
an – heavens, sky / god, star, planets(4)
bala – cross [-over], rotate(4)
ki – earth(4)
ba – allot, divide, appropriate(4)

NecroBible6ththumb Cuneiform tablets reveal that the Anunnaki measured, appropriated and formed their “order” of things in the Universe, responsibility became divided between what is “above” versus what is “below.” Incidentally, they even drew lots.

The Elder Gods of the Anunnaki came together.
With lots they decided the fate of the world.
ANU – the “Father of the Heavens” – would remain in heaven.
ENLIL – the “Royal Heir” – was given the command of the airs.
EA [ENKI] was given control of the “Waters of Life” on earth.(5)

For thousands of years, mystics have sought to relay the simple message that there is an energetic interconnectedness to all things – heaven and earth; seen and unseen. It is the observation and direct experience of this wholeness-factor that actually gives the mystic, magician, seer or sorcerer what appear to be “supernatural” knowledge and abilities, when nothing could be further from the truth – it is all quite “natural.”(6)

(1) Joshua Free’s translation provided for the “Sumerian Wisdom II” project, a forthcoming sequel to Sumerian Wisdom & Anunnaki Prophecies: The Book of Sajaha the Seer (edited by Joshua Free) for Mardukite Truth Seeker Press. Cuneiform tablet entries chosen for the edition represent a clear preservation of Sumerian language proverbs written by scribes during the Old Babylonian period.
(2) Original transliteration of the “Sumerian Proverbs” collection excavated from Nippur by the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. Supplemental notes suggest a corrective reading: an-e-bala ki-bala an-ba ki (an)-ba.
(3) Translation by Edmund Gordon from the “Sumerian Proverbs” museum monograph. The meaning “eludes” the original editor and Gordon simply states that the “allusion seems to be one of the gods.”
(4) Sumerian vocabulary derived from the Mardukite handbook: Secrets of Sumerian Language edited by Joshua Free.
(5) Excerpted from tablet collections found in the Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible edited by Joshua Free. Earlier pre-Babylonian (Sumerian) cuneiform ‘genesis’-tablets often begin with the lines: When after AN carried away the heavens. When after ENLIL carried away the earth.
(6) The same type of ‘Divine’ sanction became the foundation of the Catholic Church with the statement “what you decree on earth will be held in heaven,” etc. Other world religions have adopted similar statutes to self-validate their beliefs.

Cuneiform Tablets Revealed! Sumerian Proverb Warns: Be Careful What You Think

claytabletsheader

“What the mind believes, the spirit reinforces.”(1)

When describing experiences of reality and the manifestations of the physical world, transhumanist Robert Anton Wilson once wrote that “whatever the thinker thinks, the prover proves.” For thousands of years mystics have urged us that our “energy flows where attention goes,” that “belief imparts reality,” and we certainly cannot dismiss how the mind directly affects how we process our day-to-day experiences. Our lives become energetically intertwined into where we put our focus and what we value most. We are what we think we are and life becomes what we make of it – for better or worse.

cuneisdgsdg da-ga nam-ku-zu d-Lamma a bi-ib-gar (2)
(When) reason was perserverant, the guardian-genius reinforced it.‘ (3)

The original transliteration of this proverb invokes the ‘d-Lammasu‘ of Mesopotamian tradition – the prototype of the now familiar “guardian angel.” Later examinations of similar tablet series revealed the word ‘an-Kal‘ in its stead, implying “what is most highly valued.” In either case, when the mind makes solid some bit of reasoning, the observation and personal experience of reality collapses to this belief. Such a paradigm or “mind-set” becomes the static program that interprets all of the sensations and data flowing in from a seemingly separate world external to us. What we envision, we can also create and manifest in reality. When we do this, the “God-part” or “higher genius” of our being becomes awakened and active to ‘reinforce’ our will.(6)

SUMERIAN VOCABULARY
da-ga – perseverance(?), to be ubiquitous (4)
nam-ku-zu – cleverness, wisdom, reason (4)
d-/dingir – ‘prefix determinative’ / god, star, planet, spirit (5)
Lamma – ‘guardian spirit’, ‘higher genius’ / Lammasu spirit
(an-)Kal – to be valued, rare or precious (5)
bi-ib-gar – literally: “placed its strength (or ‘arm’) upon it” (4)
ib-da-na – lay down with, to be mated with (4)

SumerianReligion2ndfrntcrop Alternative interpretations emerged from newer transliterations provided by Thorkild Jacobsen in his notes for the 1959 edition of “Sumerian Proverbs.” His translation of da-ga comes from the root ‘dag‘ – “to move about here or there” or “to be ubiquitous.” He goes on to translate ‘dag-a‘ as a person who is “roaming, vagrant or homeless” and when combined with his translation of ‘ib-da-na‘, the proverb is restated as: “A wise man makes the homeless welcome, and they are able to lie down.” In this light, given what is known in our ‘Sumerian Vocabulary‘, the proverb could also read: “a resourceful traveler values rest” or “the wise wanderer’s spirit finds rest.”

(1) Translation by Joshua Free for the “Sumerian Wisdom II” materials, a forthcoming sequel to Sumerian Wisdom & Anunnaki Prophecies: The Book of Sajaha the Seer edited by Joshua Free for the Mardukite Truth Seeker Press. Select tablets for this edition seek to preserve and study Sumerian language proverbs in cuneiform script during the Old Babylonian period.
(2) Original transliteration from the Nippur “Sumerian Proverbs” collection excavated by the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. The updated version (1959) with supplemental notes by Thorkild Jacobsen offers the replacement line: da-ga nam-ku-zu an-Kal ib-da-na.
(3) Translation by Edmund Gordon from the “Sumerian Proverbs” museum monograph. A corrected translation appears in lieu of the updated replacement line: “The perserverant person values reason (and thereby) can rest.”
(4) Sumerian vocabulary supplemental from the ‘Sumerian Glossary and Concordance’ for the Edmund Gordon “Sumerian Proverbs” museum monograph.
(5) Sumerian vocabulary derived from the Mardukite handbook: Secrets of Sumerian Language edited by Joshua Free.
(6) Edmund Gordon notes his interpretation of the original transliteration as: ”God helps them that help themselves” or what “man proposes, God disposes.”

Mesopotamian, Sumerian & Babylonian Cuneiform: Wisdom Tablets, “Destiny” as Origins of Astrology

claytabletsheader

3. “When disaster is self-made, no man can interfere.” (1)

Mesopotamian religious and spiritual traditions carry a uniquely dynamic vision of ‘divinity’ and ‘spirit’. As explained in Secrets of Sumerian Language,” the cuneiform ‘cross’ sign ‘dingir‘ (Akk., ilu ) that prefixes divine names of the Anunnaki pantheon also applies to ‘celestial’ or ‘heavenly’ bodies – “planets” and “stars” symbolic and representative of the Anunnaki pantheon thought to hold precedence over mundane affairs. The belief literally stood that all physical worldly manifestations and outcomes on earth (in the material world) possessed an ‘unseen’ influence of “perturbation” by ‘divine’ and ‘otherworldly’ energetic currents (from the ‘spiritual’ or metaphysical world). Initial correspondents of these currents between individual Anunnaki and their associated planets. Additional systematization of these concepts led the Babylonian inception of astrological traditions still observed today.

cuneisdgsdg nig-ku-lam-ma dingir-ra-na-ka su—tu-tu nu-ub-zu (2)
‘The destruction is from his own (personal) god; he knows no savior.’ (3)

Literal translation of dingir-ra(-na-ka) indicates that the aforementioned disaster comes from “one’s own personal god.” While ancient Sumerian and Babylonian spirituality did incorporate personal tribal or familial (ancestral) ‘deities’ and “guardian spirits,” such are generally related to lesser spirits: the sedu (spirits) and lamassu (guardians) that make greater appearances in the religion and magical traditions of the (post-Sumerian) Babylonian (Akkadian and Assyrian) Mardukites. Modern interpreters of this line read it literally and translate the sentiment as: when a man loses his favor with his personal deity then he has no one to appeal for him to the higher powers. (6)

sumlangthumb In Secrets of Sumerian Language, the distinct philosophical difference in Mesopotamia between ‘fate’ and ‘destiny’ is described based on its cuneiform usage. A person’s life has a ‘destination’ or ‘destiny’ that is fixed “in the heavens” by the gods or ‘stars’ in “zones of influence.” In comparison, a person’s ‘fate’ refers to subconsciously chosen environmental conditions that comprise a life-path that is not necessarily “fixed” while they are on their way to a destination that is fixed. In other words, it is the ‘route’ one travels on their way to a final ‘destiny’. Whether decreed by one’s own ‘personal god’ or ‘personal star’ or even erupting from one’s own “god-self,” this cuneiform line seems to indicate a ‘thing’ that is unavoidable or cannot be prevented by the person themselves or another human: such a thing on earth has been decreed in the heavens. (3)

SUMERIAN VOCABULARY
[nig-] – ‘abstract’ / a thing (7)
ku-lam-ma – destruction (4); a thing forgotten (8)
dingir – ‘prefix determinative’ / god, star, planet, spirit (5)
su—tu-tu nu-ub-zu – it cannot be prevented; or ‘avoided’ (9)

MesopotamianReligionFrontcrop Original analysis of the original Sumerian Proverb tablet series occurred using an elementary understanding of cuneiform script and Mesopotamian languages. Thorkild Jacobsen replaced Gordon’s original translation of su—tu-tu as “savior,” noting the Akkadian equivalent (‘ekimu‘) implies to “rob, steal or take away” (and not “to save”), meaning that the disaster/destruction that has been brought on into one’s life cannot be “touched” or “interfered” with and is thus “inevitable.” This more advanced rendering reveals a much deeper understanding of the ideal that what a person is due, they are due and a person receiving the harsh lessons of their life is unable to be assisted or coddled through it by any other power – they must simply experience, endure and, hopefully, survive the course with lessons learned. Quite simply, no one can interfere and safeguard against a person hellbent on making their own mistakes. (3)(9)

(1) Translation of Sumerian Proverb tablet by Joshua Free for Sumerian Wisdom II (tentative title) materials, the forthcoming sequel to Sumerian Wisdom & Anunnaki Prophecies: The Book of Sajaha the Seer edited by Joshua Free. These tablets attempt to preserve Sumerian language proverbs in cuneiform script during the Old Babylonian period.

(2) Derived from the original “Sumerian Proverbs” collection found in Nippur by the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. Some transliterations omit the ‘-na-ka‘.

(3) Original translation provided in the “Sumerian Proverbs” museum monograph by Edmund Gordon. The translation and interpretation has since been updated by Thorkild Jacobsen in the 1959 edition notes to the monograph: “–the disaster is of his own making (lit., ‘is of his personal god’), it brooks no interference.” His interpretation warns that “against self-imposed burdens, self-willed destruction, others can do very little.”

(4) Vocabulary supplement derived from the ‘Sumerian Glossary and Concordance’ for the Gordon “Sumerian Proverbs” museum monograph.

(5) Vocabulary inclusion of student translation is derived from the Mardukite handbook: Secrets of Sumerian Language edited by Joshua Free.

(6) Edmund Gordon explains his interpretation: “When a man’s personal god is against him, he has no one to intercede on his behalf before the assembly of the gods.”

(7) The Sumerian cuneiform prefixing sign ‘nig‘ – found at the start of lines throughout this particular series of ‘proverb’ tablets – indicates an attached statement regarding a ‘thing’ as an “abstraction” (concept) rather than always to be treated as a literal “thing” (object).

(8) An alternate translation to nig-ku-lam-ma is offered in the collected notes and revised additions of the 1959 edition by Edmund Gordon as: “a thing which has been forgotten.”

(9) Alternatively suggested by Joshua Free as “no one can prevent” or “no one can avoid” from the literal Akkadian ekimu – “none may ‘steal’ away.”

Sumerian Wisdom & Babylonian Cuneiform Tablets: Wisdom on Civil Disobedience, Submission & Defiance

2. “What is given in submission is a catalyst for defiance.” (1)

The ‘Near East’ of the ancient world, now called the ‘Middle East’ today, has never found an equilibrium of political or military peace. Imaginary borders and boundaries, not to mention total conquest of the Babylonian Empire, meant a king could be a true conqueror of the ‘known world’ and legitimately the most powerful of figures in its midst.

cuneisdgsdg nig-gu-gar-ra nig-gaba-gar-ra (2)
That which is given in submission becomes a medium of defiance.‘ (3)

When the annals of Mesopotamian history are examined, a seeker discovers a broad legacy of constantly shifting sands of power, dynastic reign and the geographical realm of an empire’s capital city all play a part in military management of these ancient forces that fought for control of the Tigris and Euphrates river valley (Mesopotamia), the resources it contained (abundant when tapped properly), the recognition of and authority over a sweeping population (the largest urban centers of the ancient world) and the state-religions governing the whole system (that have gone on to shape even the programming of the modern world).

sumlangthumb The actual cuneiform verse can be translated in two different ways. Both are meant to convey the same sentiment. Early transliteration scholars recognized that ‘gu-gar‘ and ‘gaba-gar‘ refer to ‘things’ of submission (gu-gar) and defiance (gaba-su-gar), which makes the statement we have above possible. However, if the ‘figure of speech’ is to be taken literally, then the ‘thing’ given is a “neck” (gu) beneath (“submission”) your opponents foot – or else, “sticking your neck out” – and this ‘thing’ becomes a ‘thing’ (placed) against the opponents chest, a sign of “defiance.” (7)

SUMERIAN VOCABULARY
[nig-] – a thing / ‘abstract’ (4)(7)
gu-gar – to submit / give submission (4)
gu – neck (5)
gaba-su-gar – of defiance / to defy (4)
gaba – chest / breast (4)

sajahafronthumb The cuneiform author suggests ‘taking one for the team’, giving motivational due to one who executes gainful sacrifice for a better future outcome – or, at least, the possibility of one. Considered in the spirit of ‘civil disobedience’ as suggested by classic writer, Henry David Thoreau, the advice may be for the ‘common folk’ rather than warlords and kings, and suggests that one keeps their head down in order to ‘fight another day’.

Sumerian Proverbs & Babylonian Wisdom: Ancient Cuneiform Tablets Reveal Emphasis on “Truth”

claytabletsheader

“Whoever partners with Truth, creates Life.” (1)

At the forefront of the ‘Sumerian Proverbs’ [Liber-P] Old Babylonian (Akkadian) cuneiform tablet series is a homage to the universal and ineffable spirit of Truth – that enigmatic force – a driving pursuit at the core of all language arts at the cradle of modern human civilization sciences…

cuneisdgsdg nig-ge-na-ta a-ba in-da-di nam-ti i-u-tu (2)

‘Whoever has walked with truth generates life.’ (3)

Communicating this philosophy to modern minds in English language is difficult. The sentiment carried is greater than to simply say: ‘whoever is true’ or ‘whoever is with truth’. It also does not say ‘whoever is filled with truth’. Whether we adopt the -da/-ta (together with) or -ta[b] (partnered with) interpretation, the implication is that ‘whoever’ is deeply ingrained or ‘bound’ to Truth; it is next to them, it is their companion, or else they have taken it as a friend, forsaking all others that might break that bond.

sumlangthumb I favor this preferred meaning over the original interpretation of having ‘walked with truth’ (impermanent past-tense). I understand the original author/translator meaning to imply the ‘walking with a companion’, but the interpretation seems vague if not misrepresenting the actual Sumerian Lexicon being evoked.

SUMERIAN VOCABULARY

[nig]-ge-na – truth (4)

-da/-ta – beside, in vicinity of, together with (5)

-ta[b] – friends, companion, partner (5)

a-ba – who? / whoever (5)

nam-ti – fate/nam; life/ti (5)

u-tu – to bear ‘children’, give birth to (5)

MesopotamianReligionFrontcrop Given that the word for ‘generating’ or ‘creating’ life given here is the same word meant to imply literal ‘birth-giving’, the romantic interpretation of this proverb is that ‘whoever partners with Truth as a lover’ will ‘give birth to Life’ – they will ‘radiate’ or ‘generate’ a prosperous life. The subject is not simply ‘building’ or ‘constructing’ the life out of preexisting materials but is literally ‘giving birth to’ their existence, life or reality as a result of their union with Truth – living in harmony with observed cosmic forces and thereby manifesting the desired life and result. -GGG-

1. nig-ge-na-ta a-ba in-da-[DI]

2. nam-ti ia-u-t[u].

Babylonian Religon, Secrets of Nabu Tutu and Origins of Hermetic Transcendental Magic

Borsippa2b2

This is an excerpt from THE BOOK OF NABU, named for he who is found among the “younger pantheon” of Anunnaki ‘gods’ (such as were observed in Babylon and then later in Egypt). NABU is one of the key figures (sometimes spelled NEBO in later Semitic languages) who recorded and maintained the tablets of the Babylonian Tradition– the prophet-son, Mardukite herald and heir of the god of Babylon: MARDUK.

NecroBible6ththumb THE FIRST TABLET OF NABU is from the Mardukite Tablet-T Series found in the Year-1 ‘Mardukite Core’ released in the Necronomicon Anunnaki Bible, in addition to the Legacy Edition, the Compact Edition and the Babylonian Magick (Grimoire).

nec Under the name and title of NABU-TUTU [which can be found listed among the “Fifty Names” from the Enuma Elis and translated as TAHUTI in Egyptian systems], NABU heralded the age and wisdom of MARDUK and under the direction of his father, recorded the legacies of the gods, kept safe the secret knowledge and prayers of the ANUNNAKI, and also the magick of ENKI, all of which could be maintained for posterity by a sacred priesthood – later collected in modern times as the “NECRONOMICON ANUNNAKI BIBLE” – and the NECRONOMICON ANUNNAKI LEGACY (SILVER EDITION) – am authentic book of dead, ancestral names, memories and powers!

Borsippa2b2b2b

The name or title of NABU literally means, “He who speaks for,” translated as “prophet” or “messenger herald.” The Ordo Nabu Maerdechai presently observes the current editor JOSHUA FREE for this position in modern times, working with an active division of the Mardukite Chamberlains known as the Council of Nabu-Tutu…

nabuspeaksthumb The Earthling spouse of MARDUK and mother to NABU — SARPANIT (seventh generation born from Adapa) — is rarely given respect as the “way to her husband’s ear and favor” in the traditionally understood pantheon, but NABU, being half-divine (directly the son of MARDUK) was given a position and ranking among the younger Anunnaki — after the rise to supremacy of MARDUK, recognized in Egypto-Babylonian lore, who then required a legal heir, NABU — and charge of his own Gate.

THE FIRST TABLET OF NABU & THE ORIGINS OF THE HERMETIC TRADITION

And so NABU {indicated as I} went to the Mountain [pyramid],
To hear the Voice of the Great God come from the Mountain.
The Unseen God, whose vision and voice comes to the prophet.
And the voice of MARDUK came out of the Mountain [pyramid].

“I am the voice of the God who cannot be here.
I am the voice of the God who is in the hearts of all men.
I am the voice of the God who appears in many faces.
It is I, the voice of the God, that will teach you the way,
And I command you, dear son, to write this what I say
On tablets for all of humanity’s sake,
That they might honor the Gods of their Ancestors [ANUNNAKI]
But worship the Eternal Source of All Being & Creation.
I am not only the voice of your God, but also your commander.
Prepare for the long and hard battle such as lies ahead.”

NABU asked MARDUK:
“What can men do to prepare for the sake of their own lives,
How can they live to serve and worship proper?”

And the voice of MARDUK echoed out:
“Live piously and by the Union Code [Tablet] of the ANUNNAKI.
For there is no longer any religion higher than the Source.
And the desire of God is for us to love one another,
And not to sacrifice the life which has been made possible.
A certain knowledge of what is good and evil on Earth,
With perfected choice will be the former, so is the will of God.
There is no pleasure to be gained from the wasteful shed of blood.
Celebrate life and sing praises to the creation around you,
Which has been carefully made for you, by the Highest,
Under who the ANUNNAKI live and reign over the Lower.”

And NABU asked MARDUK:
“For what can men do to repent of their sins if not by sacrifice?”

The voice of MARDUK responded:
“Give to the Eternal Source dedication and commitment in life,
And this is all that is asked of you in this life.
Men approach the face of God in fear and beg forgiveness,
When their efforts could be better spent in prayer and praise.
Men flood the temple-shrines with more food than is consumed,
When it could be better distributed among the poor.
Bring the God of Life no more vain offerings of flesh.
Pray and live a pious life at one with creation. How hard is this?
Make simple rituals if it pleases you,
For only prayer and devotion is asked of the God of All.
Do not deny yourself of a happy existence in the name of God.
Never let your livelihood be neglected because you worship God.
Lives dedicated to the Source are not preoccupied by worship,
For to go out and live and act the pious life among men is best.”
