New Babylon Rises as Beltane Blossoms Bloom at Mardukite Borsippa HQ

Each year, since the inception of the modern Mardukite movement, our organization continues to observe the culturally-hybrid gate-festival of May’s Eve, Beltane or Bealtaine. For over a decade, beginning in 2009, hundreds of practitioners from around the globe have unified and synchronized their “meditations” “workings” and “directed intentions” to not only the acknowledgment of support toward the ancient legacy we represent, but also its continuation.

In 2020, the primary intention emphasized relocation of a more permanent U.S. HQ from the original Mardukite Babylonia site to elsewhere within San Luis Valley — our HQ is intended not only for our research library, but also the publishing office of the Joshua Free Imprint, a counseling center and future chapel for The Founding Church of Mardukite Zuism & Systemology Society. (Additionally, elsewhere in the world, David Zibert placed intentions on collaborating for a French-Canadian branch of the Mardukite Chamberlains, a Mardukite Zuist Temple and Systemological Society. He has been consistently providing French translations of our material for several years.)

Here we are a year later and the May Blossoms are blooming here on the Apricot tree for Beltane over at the new Mardukite Borsippa HQ.

Apricot trees are one of many species that blossom around the end of April, providing natural philosophers and other more earth-oriented folk with observably indicating Beltane and the turning of the Wheel of the Year. This festival was once an annual staple of other mystical traditions and religions throughout ancient Europe, made especially popular by the Celtic Druids.

The May Pole, long reduced academically to little more than a phallic symbol, actually is representative of the World Tree, or else the Gateway between all Worlds — all Universes.

Beltane 2021 also commemorates six months or turning point since Samhain 2021 and the completed realization of the Mardukite Academy of Systemology — a grand unification of all work by Joshua Free since 1995 into a precise methodology of study and practice traversing three “Grades” — referred to as the “Master Grades” composed of:
–“The Route of Magick and Mysticism” (Grade I, Route A)
–“The Route of Druidism and the Dragon Legacy” (Grade I, Route D)
–“The Route of Mesopotamian Mystery Tradition” (Grade-II) and finally

The most ancient pure streams of mystical practice differ greatly from those more “Western” approaches popularly revived in modern “New Age” and metaphysical movements. Occult revivals tend to emphasize a focus only on elements that can be superimposed onto existing forms of modern magical practice or the esoteric obsession with obscure and popular “grimoires” that yield their best results in the form of self-delusion and thought-forms born from mental masturbation. It definitively invokes powers of the Anunnaki by “birth-right,” calling on the ancient “covenant” alleged to be “sworn between the gods and man.”

The authentic ancient concepts defined by the ancient “Mardukite” ideal in Babylon is revived today in spirit of work produced by the Mardukite Chamberlains (Mardukite Research Organization)—a group of specific individuals seeking to free humanity from the spiritual and intellectual slavery that keeps us from the Truth, and as a result has kept many of us from a true Self-Honest spiritual evolution. Yes, we are “chamberlains” and stewards of an ancient mystery tradition, but we serve the cause “on commitment” and in dedication to the “Highest,” not as some arbitrarily observed idol-worship in the name of Marduk—which is a commonly made mistake by outsiders and purely academic archaeologists. What’s more—at its most abstract and fundamental level: modern Mardukites seek to prepare the “House of Marduk” and “Temple of Heaven-Earth” as one-to-one with the Self, the Earth and the Cosmos—All-as-One!

Babylonian New Year Festival, “Book of Marduk by Nabu” 10th Anniversary Pocket Hardcover

The Akkadian name for the final day of the festival—Akiti or Akitu—translates roughly to “On Earth, Life.” Most scholars usually only recognize the “agricultural” significance and not necessarily the “political” and “mystical” functions of the observation. DRUIDS, VAMPYRES & SUMERIANS : Mardukite 2017 (Year-9) Annual Occult & Esoteric Book Review | New Babylon Rising eZine

This past year the Mardukite Research Organization underwent tremendous developments and transitions. What began with establishment of a new Marduk Temple and mobile office for the Mardukite Truth Seeker Press resulted with the much anticipated founding of a NEW BABYLON, the physical 5-acre off-grid HQ and desert preserve of the modern movement in San Luis Valley (Colorado) called the: Mardukite Babylon Ancient Astronomy Research Office.

During the Summer 2016 through Summer 2017 (Mardukite Season), the mobile-RV Marduk Temple and its guardians made several journeys and social invasions, including the Bonneville Salt Flats (Utah), the Grotto of the Redemption (Iowa), Carhenge (Nebraska), Badlands National Park (South Dakota), Maquoketa Caves (Iowa), the Renaissance Festival (Colorado), Garden of the Gods (Colorado) and an extended stay at Clear Creek RV Park (Golden, Colorado) while ongoing construction on Mardukite Babylon commenced.

After the RV conversion to ‘mobile office’, the Mardukite Truth Seeker Press continued its publishing schedule with second planned volume of the Books of Pheryllt trilogy: Pheryllt 2: Secrets of the Ogham: The 21 Leaves of Druid Wisdom from the Book of Ogma Sun-Face edited by Joshua Free. The Seeker is led into deep forests of woodland mystery wherein lies the Great Magical Arcanum, initiation to the Divine Secrets of the Universe hidden within the runes of twenty-one Keys – the OGHAM – the secret language and alphabet of the woods. Pheryllt 2 continues the epic tribute to the work of Douglas Monroe that Joshua Free began in 2014. The concluding volume is expected in 2018.

Several years ago, final revisions of the Mardukite Core resulted in a series of matching ‘annual’ anthologies; annual, because each collected an annual Mardukite Season of material (usually three or more books) in one volume. Recent release of the second edition 2012 (Year-4) anthology, History of the Necronomicon: The Secret Evolution of Ancient Anunnaki Tradition in Modern Mardukite Magick of Sumerians & Babylonians edited by Joshua Free, brings the four-volume set full circle to its completion. The anthology includes three books, two of which were newly released as stand-alone anniversary editions this year as well: “Crossing to the Abyss” (Liber-555) and “Enochian Magic & Kabbalah” (Liber-K).

templemardukshowcase During this reconstruction, citizens of Englewood Colorado and the EPD (Englewood Police Department) were less than tolerant of our work, in spite of our civic respectfulness. At one juncture, JOSHUA FREE was threatened by Englewood Police Department with imprisonment if the Marduk Temple were found on Englewood streets again. Plans are still being developed for the NATIONAL MARDUKITE NEXGENCON scheduled for the August 2017 eclipse at Carhenge, Nebraska following a Wizards of the Wasteland spiritual retreat in the South Dakota Badlands. The Mardukite Nabu Gate & Temple of Marduk is expected to be the centralized icon of this event.

Further plans are in development for 2017 to acquire rural land designated as a NexGen Sanctuary for the future New Babylon Rising and of course, the Marduk Temple. The emphasis and purpose of this Sanctuary is to provide for the continued existence of Mardukite Chamberlains activities and survival of the Library of Nabu-Tutu archives for posterity.
