A SEASON IN HELL…
When preparing this current volume, someone who was assisting me in remaining sane while writing asked, “What is the difference between immortal and mortal, and how can you claim to be immortal in a human body?” I admit I was caught off guard, because the thought just never occurred to me. There was really no mention of it in any available literature. It was been generally assumed that if you’re dead, you’re dead; and if you rise again, you’re Undead; and if you cannot be destroyed or perish, you’re immortal. That’s basically it, isn’t it?
After delivering my answer that might as well been taken from “Webster,” I spent time later that night thinking hard about this problem. It bothered me. What bothered me, is that she was absolutely correct. What is it that can make a person in a human shell become transhuman without technology? Is it possible for us to program or reprogram our cells and our DNA using only our minds? Does another existence even await us and if so, can Ascension of Self actually happen from this lifetime? Or – have we all just been wasting our time?
Then it occurred to me in a flash and suddenly my hands were scribbling across sheets of paper in almost incoherent writing, but writing nonetheless. I’ve just gotten used to this type of “automatic” writing process that takes over. I’m hoping that won’t happen as much anymore. But, anyways, when I was done, I stood back and looked at what I wrote and it made perfect sense.
To be “immortal” and Undead are the same condition, different vocabulary. Both mean: “not dead,” which is curious because all we are talking about is Death and the dead. “Immortal” has an additional quality to it. It means consciousness that is not human, meaning transhuman. This means that “human” really is a condition and not a species or race. It is a disease and an epidemic affecting 90% of our population.
To be Immortal as the Vampyre is to exist and experience Life from a central point of Awareness beyond this body, called the Etheric Body. This is exactly what the Egyptians referred to as the “Body-Double” in their “Book of the Dead.” It has the ability to Live on after First Death, meaning after the “Death” of the corporeal body. Energy is sent to their Etheric Body during this lifetime through conscious attention and Awareness. This Eternal or Et(h)ernal Self is who We really are and what we prepare for when beyond this world. Hence, the name of this tradition is drawn from a verse: ad vitam paramus – “We Are Preparing for Life” – A Life beyond this Life.
Mortals on the other hand, are simply creatures that will die. This is describing the condition of the true Self, the Dragon within. Those who suffer from the human condition and cannot be “turned” or “awakened” will find that their condition is terminal. Having focused all energy during Life on a corporeal body and existence of inert matter, all they know of and identify with will die. All of their energy in the physical body is used for the experience of sensation. This physical body is corruptible, and so when they are preparing for First Death, they are really preparing for Final Death. Being “mortal” and self-aware of this fact, they try to rake in as much as they can from this material existence, because for them there is no other.
You might notice that there is a general theme growing here – this is all about Death and transformations and Lives after existing Lives… Of course, this is to be expected with a book about Vampyres, the Undead and Creatures of Night. But there is also a reason that this work is being released and published now, given what it is and where I am in Life.
This year, 2015, in August, I will be celebrating 20-Years active in the underground occult world. Since 1995, I have kept this current material to myself. Although Wicca and neopaganism were just starting to trend at that time, no one wanted to put any attention on the Darkness for fear that the public would see through the fluffy stuffy puffy New Age bullshit, see things for what they really are, and stop spending their money on various candles, charms and incense that they think will somehow change their Life.
Only those Darksiders connected together in the Underground (or Underworld as we called it) dealt with anything involving true vampyrism. The subject was simply too “hot” for the mainstream occult. Keep in mind this is long before the days of the Internet being what it is today. Networking, publishing and distribution was much more challenging at that time. It is amazing to see how the technology at my disposal for this type of work has changed from 1995 to now.
My last 7 years have been dedicated solely to the Mardukite Research Organization and its publishing division – and I mean solely. This Legacy was part of a 7-year plan that I wasn’t sure could even be managed in time. But here we are, 7 years exactly since the release of the first edition of Arcanum… and in addition to all of my many existing literary contributions, it is time for me to write that final chapter and make this volume prophetically the last book I will write – at age 33, the Master Number, the number of Spiritual Completion and the age that Jesus ended his public work and very possibly disappeared with Mary Magdalene to start a new life and a new Legacy.
On that note, I would like to thank all those who have been around for any part of the journey – way too many to list at this point. I hope you enjoy what I have saved, the best for last, and I hope that you find this treasure map that I leave behind to be useful in earning your own Immortality!

The term “Mardukite” had received little attention prior to its use by Joshua Free, starting in 2005. Although clearly connected to the Anunnaki being known in Babylonian literature (and traditions) as MARDUK, the organization has never once advocated the ‘worship’ of this being, or any being in the conventional sense of the word.
