“My participation in the legacy behind THE COMPLETE ELVENOMICON began in the mid-1990’s amidst a critical resurgence of ‘New Age’ interests—and foremost among these popular revivals: the Celts and Druids. In Spring 2023, JFI Publications (Joshua Free Imprint) launches a new portable pocket-sized paperback ‘Druid Forest Library‘ series based on the underground bestselling classic materials from the ELVENOMICON (formerly ‘Book of Elven-Faerie‘) in commemoration of its 20th Anniversary!

Summer 2022 has forced us to witness an onslaught of tragedy, war and devastation around the globe. It was 14 years ago, on the Summer Solstice of 2008 that Joshua Free (formerly known as Merlyn Stone in the 1990’s) emerged from a seven-year journey in the underground, out of sight from the general public, and launched what became a fundamentally new genre of the modern New Age with the inception of the Mardukite Research Org and the original Mardukite Truth Seeker Press (now the Joshua Free Imprint or JFI Publishing) premiere presentation of The Great Magickal Arcanum.
But what is more likely to have been far more memorable to many of those following along for over a decade is the launch of the Mardukite Chamberlains, coinciding with the Global Beltane Gate Ritual of 2009 and its annual revisiting for each year since — and we have been active and avidly working all this time on one purpose or project or another.
While there are many newcomers that were perhaps not around for the original event, the Mardukite Office has consistently encouraged a synchronous observance of this annual ‘threshold’ every year… and each year our movement has grown; enlarged itself with increased membership — and also the publication of titles and editions that consistently help drive the economics behind new developments.
Most recently, on Beltane 2020, our energetic intentions were directed to drive forward the acquisition and development of a more permanent home for the Mardukite Offices and within two months, the Mardukite Borsippa HQ was established in the Colorado San Luis Valley, now the global home and headquarters for the Founding Church of Mardukite Zuism, Mardukite Academy and Systemology Society.

Last year, in 2021, our efforts shifted to establishing a stronger presence for Mardukite Systemology and the work that would ‘bridge’ Grade-IV to Grade-V. Within only a few months, starting in the Summer of 2021, a new series of workshops and the “Freedom From” lectures were given at the Mardukite Academy and now compose the newly released volume Way of the Wizard by Joshua Free — specifically planned for global distribution premiering on Beltane 2022.
Also released today, for Beltane 2022, is the Mardukite Academy revised second edition of the underground classic Crystal Clear by Joshua Free.
Another soon-to-be released revised Mardukite Academy second edition in this series is the esoteric bestselling systemology ‘grimoire’: Imaginomicon, which debuts globally on May 19, 2022.
Many antiquated scholarly references to the “Books of Fferyllt” or the “Pheryllt” themselves may be found by a diligent scholar (many of which are paraphrased in this special anniversary collector’s edition of “The Pheryllt Researches”). Whatever bits trickle down from classical literature and antiquarian druidism to satisfy a modern thirst for the ‘pheryllt paradigm’ have been collected together in one place – a sacred book once thirded in former presentations of a ‘Pheryllt Trilogy’ and are now made whole – forming a complete source book of undefiled mystical lore as a companion to the original Draconomicon volume (also available in this series separately in hardcover).
Whatever name, guise, or title we might attribute to this work as the proverbial ‘Body of the Dragon’ – and we have chosen PHERYLLT – this same lore (originally accessible to very few with small networks) serves as basis for the majority of Celtic and neo-Druidic revival of the past few centuries, not to mention other forms of ‘neo-paganism’; whether or not it has received its due credit as such.

For 25 years – from 1995 to 2020 – Joshua Free continued to produce, revise, refine and reissue dozens of his own literary works.
Yet at any given time, often only a small hand-full of close assistants understood what gradients and goals each part of the work reflected, or how certain materials directly related to other materials. The full underlying purpose, ultimate direction and intended destination also all remained beneath the surface, guarded as though a high-value secret.
Since 2019, and the launch of JFI – The Joshua Free Imprint (Publications Division) – we have issued three consecutive ANNUAL REVIEWS. This issue of ARCANUM ANNUAL REVIEW emphasizes the actual nature of all materials for the Mardukite Academy, Systemology Society and Church of Mardukite Zuism, how they relate to each other or even how they are reprinted in ‘Master Edition’ anthologies and define the “Grades” of the Mardukite Academy. Each year, since the inception of the modern Mardukite movement, our organization continues to observe the culturally-hybrid gate-festival of May’s Eve, Beltane or Bealtaine. For over a decade, beginning in 2009, hundreds of practitioners from around the globe have unified and synchronized their “meditations” “workings” and “directed intentions” to not only the acknowledgment of support toward the ancient legacy we represent, but also its continuation.

HAPPY BELTANE from Mardukite Borsippa HQ San Luis Valley
Here we are a year later and the May Blossoms are blooming here on the Apricot tree for Beltane over at the new Mardukite Borsippa HQ.
Apricot trees are one of many species that blossom around the end of April, providing natural philosophers and other more earth-oriented folk with observably indicating Beltane and the turning of the Wheel of the Year. This festival was once an annual staple of other mystical traditions and religions throughout ancient Europe, made especially popular by the Celtic Druids.
The May Pole, long reduced academically to little more than a phallic symbol, actually is representative of the World Tree, or else the Gateway between all Worlds — all Universes.

It’s been a busy year for everyone, full of new challenges and barriers to dissolve, perhaps the most expansive year in the history of the modern Mardukite movement. Perhaps you’ve been following along; or perhaps you’ve been quite caught up in the events taking place among the population. We certainly have not been oblivious to these facets… but we have remained steadfast in our missions to usher in a new Crystal Age — a new crystalline era — for the metahuman evolution of those Seekers that plow ahead with us toward a state of Homo Novus that is accessible to us here and now in this lifetime… and which very well may be the ultimate key to human survival… So, in case you might have missed something, let’s catch up a bit on this past year of events.
2020 : Completion of Master Grades… UPDATE:mission accomplished!
When 2019 came to a close, Joshua Free was adamantly putting the finishing touches on what is referred to as “Grade-III” work, or else “Mardukite Systemology: The Pathway to Self-Honesty.” After nearly seven years since the former introductory issues of “NexGen Systemology,” the 2019 ended with the completion “Grade-III” and the delivery of a new introductory lecture series, THE POWER OF ZU, which was released in total as audio on YouTube and transcripts in paperback and digital format as we began the 2020 year and prepared to face its challenges. Given the nature of this elementary lecture series by Joshua Free (delivered live on the Winter Solstice 2019), many Seekers began to wonder if he didn’t already know what was about to befall humanity in 2020, because all efforts turned toward the “individual” and freeing the power of the “Spirit” to help carry and elevate Homo Sapiens to Homo Novus.

Simultaneous with the release of THE POWER OF ZU lecture transcripts as an introductory supplement to the previously released “Grade-III” work (known as THE TABLETS OF DESTINY, CRYSTAL CLEAR and SYSTEMOLOGY: THE ORIGINAL THESIS), the Joshua Free Imprint (publisher) reissued a “Fifth Anniversary Edition” of the complete “Moroii ad Vitam” notebooks as THE VAMPYRE’S HANDBOOK, containing materials from VAMPYRE’S BIBLE and CYBERNOMICON in one hardcover mini-anthology. There are three“Master Grades” of esoteric research, discovery and spiritual work demonstrated within the full catalog of books produced by Joshua Free and the Joshua Free Imprint. In the past quarter-of-a-century,Joshua Free has written and released over 40 different titles, all of which have now been revealed to belong in a certain sequence of work–a practical and effective record of 25 years leading to the completion of “Master Level” work and the continuing pursuit to reach even higher and deliver it to those that have traversed this tortuous journey and stand on a ledge of Knowing and Being, strong enough to carry an actual reality on the “upper levels.”

And so began the inception of the “2020 Master Edition Hardcover Series,” a mammoth four-volume collection spanning 3,600 pages of published works by Joshua Free — 1.2 million words released from 1995 through 2019 — and encompassing a progressive “Master-Level” curriculum that is now defined by the three “Master Grades” of the Mardukite Academy of Systemology. This means that nearly all of the works pertaining to this 25-year sequence of study and practice now fall within the leaves of these mega-anthologies and may be plotted as specific entry-points and gradients and along the “Pathway.”

Since 2017, with the original acquisition of a rural 5-acre desert track of land (often called “Mardukite Babylon”), it has been long anticipated that Joshua Free’s underground Mardukite Umbrella Org (governing the public and shadow presence of Mardukite Ministries, Founding Church of Mardukite Zuism, Mardukite Chamberlains, Council of Nabu-Tutu, Mardukite Truth Seeker Press, Joshua Free Imprint, Mardukite Academy of Systemology and International Systemology Society) had set its sights on Colorado’s San Luis Valley as its base of operations and global headquarters. Of course, as many following along have known, the site went undeveloped for many years beyond its primitive research outposts. When we started our efforts years ago, it looked like this…

But “Mardukite Babylon” (Site-A) was only a stepping stone for the organization to gather and pool its resources and solidify the efforts that would become the Joshua Free Imprint (publishing division) and the 2019 public reboot of Mardukite Systemology. But little did we know at that time that 11 miles away, the next phase of our work would unfold in 2020 at “Mardukite Borsippa” (Site-B) for the Founding Church of Mardukite Zuism & Systemology Society HQ.

And it was here at this newly acquired historic 120-year old reconditioned headquarters and armed with the completion of materials for the three “Master Grades” that Joshua Free officially launched the Mardukite Academy of Systemology on the Autumn Equinox 2020 and delivered the now legendaryMARDUKITE MASTER COURSELIVE in an effort to personally certify half-a-dozen “Grade-III” Mardukite Instructors, Zuist Ministers and Systemology Pilots while still observing proper distancing protocols. All 48 lectures were recorded on audio and released on compact disc in October 2020. 2020 : Mardukite Zuism — The New World Religion — and a Systemology for the Future… UPDATE:mission accomplished!
For over a decade, innovative work from the “Mardukite Chamberlains” has been at the underground forefront of a new esoteric wave present in the New Age: “Mesopotamian Neopaganism.” But even a casual examination of Mardukite Zuist literature reveals that our unique flavor of work deals with something far exceeding any former conceptions of metaphysics, religion, philosophy, spirituality…and it is certainly not a rehash of (for example) “wicca” using “Anunnaki” names.
This is plainly clear for anyone to see.
And if it wasn’t, Joshua Free had kicked off 2020 with a small booklet titled MARDUKITE ZUISM: A BRIEF INTRODUCTION that appeared in English and then also in French as translated by David Zibert, Director of Mardukite Zuism & Systemology in Canada. This material was also recently incorporated into a new abridgement of THE ANUNNAKI BIBLE specially for founding and disseminating the Church of Mardukite Zuism presence on Earth. It was also the first title published directly from the new “Mardukite Borsippa HQ”! And in that spirit of conciseness–and also to introduce the spiritual philosophy inherent behind Mardukite Zuism–our Mardukite Publications Staff Officer, James Thomas, closed out the 2020 year with a hand-selected collection of eighteen critical articles, lecture transcripts and reference chapters drawing from the “Grade-III” works by Joshua Free (such as THE TABLETS OF DESTINY, CRYSTAL CLEAR, THE POWER OF ZU and SYSTEMOLOGY: THE ORIGINAL THESIS) in a newly edited paperback introduction to “Mardukite Systemology” released underground on the Winter Solstice 2020 as THE WAY INTO THE FUTURE: A HANDBOOK FOR HUMANITY. Following the completion of the three “Master Grades” and the induction of Mardukite Master Course to relay them, the advanced work has continued–against all odds and in the face of the ever-changing shape of the world–to extend upper-levelMardukite Systemology work through Grade-IV and beyond! Here we are in 2020 and we take a moment to look back on the legacy of Beltane both ancient and modern in this miniseries of blogposts!
“The Belteine or Beltane festival is named such after the ‘Fires of Bel’ or ‘Belinos’—most likely a remnant of Bel Marduk or known elsewhere in the Canaanite mutation of ‘Baal.’ It was actual on the dawn of an ancient Belteine when the Tuatha d’Anu arrived in Ireland and set fire to their own ships. The most commonly known tradition of May Day is the ‘May Pole’—a symbol of the ‘World Tree’ that is traditionally danced around while weaving ribbons hung from the top. ‘May Day’ is, of course, May 1st, though the festival begins the night before—on May’s Eve—with the construction of two large bonfires built side-by-side, which are then consecrated to Bel before set aflame. Ancient Celts marched their cattle in procession between these two flames as they led them out to pasture for the year. Some evening observances may be held, however this following rite is typically observed at noon.”

It is in many ways possible that proto-Druid and Celtic observations of “Beltane” resulted from the most significant event of the ancient nearly prehistoric legacy: the arrival of the Tuatha d’Anu (or Tuatha de Dannan) in Western Europe.
“Lore suggests that the ‘Children of the Stars’ [Tuatha d’Anu] arrived in Keltia on ‘Beltane’—May’s Eve—approximately five thousand years ago. The race or clan was socially represented by four primary ‘leaders’ or ‘warriors,’ each from a different city or capital in their ‘homelands’—wherever this might be, as the subject turns to the domain of legend…”

“They [Tuatha d’Anu] arrived there on Beltane (May Day or May’s Eve) ‘concealed in a magical fog or mist.’ While the European mainland lay off to the East and South of Ireland, the Tuatha D’Anu arrived from the North and West of the Island, settling first in the mountains of Western Ireland. This led many to believe they were the ‘People of the North’ or that they came from somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. But, their ships, on the other hand, were said to be of a “sky-nature,” which somehow caused an uncanny solar eclipse for the first three days of their arrival…”

Beltane is an unusual festival or annual cross-quarter event that is literally called the “Fires of Bel” or “Bel-teine.” The name “Bel” for “lord” or “god” being an obvious import from the Ancient Mystery School. In Celtic and Druidic tradition, this festival stood apart from all of the others as the most supreme “Fire Festival” in Keltia, observed with a bonfire, which could only be ignited by the most esoteric means:
“Many scholars today are of the mind that the Druid’s Gem ‘no larger than an apple’ was manufactured from glass—a substance linking the item to both the Motherhood of Avalon, residing on the ‘Isle of Apples’ (alternatively, the ‘Isle of Glas’ or ‘Glastonbury’) and the Welsh alchemical Druid fire-workers—the ‘Pheryllt.’ It has been further suggested by certain scholars, notably Lady Flavia Anderson in ‘The Ancient Secret,’ that the original serpent’s eggs were spheres of clear crystal used to light the Druidic Beltane ‘needfires’ via focused sunlight.”

In nearly all cultures that observe it, the annual Beltane threshold on the eve of May is a bridge between worlds, a critical doorway or bridge that greatly mirrors the significances held in regard to Samhain—taking place in “earth-time” exactly opposite in the year on the eve of November. In fact, a note regarding this even appears in The Draconomicon by Joshua Free (also available in Merlyn’s Complete Book of Druidism), stating “Although these types of evocation seem typical of Samhain, esoteric lore also indicates that the Beltane Gate is actually more accessible from “our” side, at the exactly opposite “peak” of the year.”
