In the past, many Seekers would often select books by Joshua Free to study at random – or based on personal associations with certain “titles” or themes.
An individual took on the task of self-administering a loosely organized solitary course – and generally only to the extent they were already willing and able to realize.

For 25 years – from 1995 to 2020 – Joshua Free continued to produce, revise, refine and reissue dozens of his own literary works.
Yet at any given time, often only a small hand-full of close assistants understood what gradients and goals each part of the work reflected, or how certain materials directly related to other materials. The full underlying purpose, ultimate direction and intended destination also all remained beneath the surface, guarded as though a high-value secret.
Since 2019, and the launch of JFI – The Joshua Free Imprint (Publications Division) – we have issued three consecutive ANNUAL REVIEWS. This 2021 edition best represents the intention behind titling these annual reviews “Arcanum” since the beginning – for in these pages we keep record of a quite esoteric modern chronicle and continuing update concerning currently issued “Secrets Disclosed and Materials Representing Them.”
