Mardukite Zagmuk NexGen Spring Equinox Festival, CyberVamps DJs LIVE! in Denver (March 20)

Celebrating their first official LIVE CyberVamps podcast (called an #EVM Broadcast — indicating Electronic Vampyre Music), CyberGoth DJs Nabu & Kyra Kyber appeared last night (March 20) in DENVER to observe the Spring Equinox (Babylonian Festival of Zagmuk/Akiti) and commemorate the crossing of keyboardist extraordinaire KEITH EMERSON, from the infamous 70’s symphonic rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, often referred to as ELP.

March 20-21st is traditionally observed in both ancient and New Age traditions as a celebration of the new Spring Season — marked by the passage of the Sun into the astronomical domain of Aries and heralding the phenomenon known as the EQUINOX, a point in the year when the duration of night and day are even or equal. This also happens in the Autumn Fall Season — however it is the Spring Equinox that carries the most significant historical and spiritual parallels to what we associate with the Spring Season even today. In ancient Sumer and Babylon, this time is called ZAGMUK or AKITU (Akiti) — coinciding with the Holy Week of modern Easter observances…
