Sumerian Rituals, Babylonian Magic and the Rise of Modern Mesopotamian Neopaganism

“Here [in Babylon] is real death. Not a column or arch still stands to demonstrate the permanency of human work. Everything has crumbled to dust. The very temple tower, the most imposing of all these ancient constructions, has entirely lost its shape. Where are now its seven stages? We see nothing but a mound of earth – all that remains of the millions of its bricks. Here the ancient mysteries and their tombs have been sleeping quietly for millenniums. In a few months, perhaps in a few days, the ground will be broken by trenches as in a battlefield. And the repose of the poor dead will be disturbed by the frantic search for records and data…”
~ Edward Chiera, “They Wrote On Clay”
From a letter to his wife

Before Babylon—when history had not yet been written—the land now known to modern man as the “Middle East” was first occupied by “gods” of antiquity—the Anunnaki. These super-human figures molded and shaped human consciousness and the systematized civilization we so easily take for granted in the “Western World” today. The wheel of time forced the age of “gods” to become an era of “men” and their ways, but the ancient foundations built in Mesopotamia remain strong among us today.

Don’t miss the 10th Anniversary reissue of the amazing modern esoteric library of Mesopotamian Neopaganism developed by the “Mardukite Research Organization” now rewritten, revised and updated in the newly restored alternative-paperback edition of the MARDUKITE CORE.

Classical period Greeks may be credited with the term: Mesopotamia—meaning “A land between two rivers.” More literal than poetic, the title accurately describes the region known to the ancients as Babylonia—the “Land of the Gates of the Gods” and the “City of Star-Gates” established primarily between two rivers—the Tigris and the Euphrates. Today, the term Babylonia is used to distinguish post-Sumerian empires maintained by Babylonian kings, a lineage made famous by Hammurabi, the powerful “Mardukite” systematizer of Babylon.

Commonly compared to the fertile Nile region of Egypt, Mesopotamia is also a river-delta system—and, like the Nile to the Egyptians, this system of life-giving waters proved to be inseparable from prosperity of the people. The plain was cultivated successfully by use of the first “aqueduct-irrigation” systems. Accurate construction and upkeep of these canals were vital to keep Babylonia habitable in all seasons.

Mystics of every age go forth explaining an almost quantum vision of reality and existence: entangled, interconnected—All-as-One. While this might seem a truly obscure approach to crossing the current threshold of what is typically deemed an “academic” topic; it is not. Consider for a moment that our mythic past is very much rooted in truth—albeit misunderstood but a truth that has been conveniently, or forcefully, forgotten among mass awareness.

Politics and the general human condition evolving outside of the Ancient Mystery School have, throughout history, taken its toll on accounts of said truth, as becomes quite evident concerning the history of the geographic region known as Mesopotamia. Humans, accepting a mortal paradigm, are unaware of one critical aspect of the cosmos—one that they can not see based on limited perceptions and reality experiences schematized by semantic labeling—that Universal Truth is actually unchanging. Some have even put forth to call it “Cosmic Law.”

In spite of the best (or worst) human efforts across time, the Truth has survived to remind us of our origins, to instruct us on where we have to go and perhaps, most importantly, the standards we should live by to get there. Mere survival of Secret Doctrines by select cabals is not enough. For as the world was once plummeted into Dark Ages only to be reincarnated in an Age of Enlightenment, the “esoteric” truth did not resurface in public “exoteric” consciousness—in fact, it went the other direction: underground and into vaults of obscure “occult” factions.

“Necronomicon: The Anunnaki Grimoire” Hardcover Release Completes 10th Anniversary “Mardukite Core” Trilogy Series

Joshua Free, world renown esoteric expert, Director of the modern “Mardukite Research Organization,” and author of the underground bestselling “Mardukite Core”–including “Necronomicon: The Anunnaki Bible” and “Gates of the Necronomicon”–invites the Seeker on an incredible progressive esoteric journey to illuminate the most ancient and powerful magical tradition on earth within the text of this final volume of the “Mardukite Core” 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Hardcover “Necronomicon Trilogy,” revealed with perfect clarity.

Originally published in four installments, this special Necronomicon Grimoire anthology collects some of the most practical occult contributions from the modern Mardukite Research Organization as developed underground for the past decade, including two texts recently revised and released as stand-alone pocket hardcover editions: The Complete Book of Marduk by Nabu and The Maqlu Ritual Book.

NECRONOMICON – THE ANUNNAKI GRIMOIRE:
A MANUAL OF PRACTICAL BABYLONIAN MAGICK

Collector’s Edition – Hardcover

edited by Joshua Free
Complete Year-3 Liber-E,W/Z,M+K
10TH ANNIVERSARY
Global Release: May 30 2019
[An alternate edition–“Practical Babylonian Magic: Invoking the Power of the Sumerian Anunnaki“–is also planned for paperback release on June 21 2019.]

The complete “Mardukite Core” library collection is a revolutionary “New Age” advancement in authentic historical, spiritual and mystical research drawn from a unique unparalleled combination of archeological findings and esoteric mystical-magical traditions. A wellsprings of hidden information and cuneiform tablet translations awaits the seeker—drawn from ancient folds of forgotten lore: Sumerian, Babylonian, Akkadian, Assyrian, Chaldean, Egyptian, Yezidic, Zoroastrian and more. A holistic research-intensive path, rooted in the heart and soul of humanity in Mesopotamia, is laid out clearly for the “Truth Seeker” to see—in its pure and undefiled state.

In the midst of this, now in the 21st century, the “Mardukites” are a very real modern philosophical and meta-spiritual “New Thought” movement aligned specifically with the Anunnaki paradigm. In ancient Babylon, this was famously founded upon the followers of Marduk—recognized among the local pantheon as patron of Babylonian tradition and “King of the Gods” for this branch of the Mesopotamian mythos with special assistance by the Nabu priesthood of “Mardukite” scribes…

Yet—maps are not the journey—and while many are called; few are chosen. This path, although marked in signs and beacons, is not clearly or widely tread. This “pure undefiled” Self-Honest journey to the Source is not a path of the masses—and even those esoterically-inclined have many times retreated from its fundamentals and antiquated semantics, returning to more familiar veils and shadows run rampant throughout modern “New Age” movements. Others have attempted to “cherry-pick” the most practical applications from our earlier works—ironically, the very same coveted collection of materials now revealed in NECRONOMICON: THE ANUNNAKI GRIMOIRE—the final volume of this trilogy.

The newly released concluding volume of the hardcover trilogy — NECRONOMICON: THE ANUNNAKI GRIMOIRE — brings together the most “practical” materials from the “Mardukite Core” to provide the most pragmatic “grimoire”—both applicable to modern times and remaining true to the Anunnaki Legacy demonstrated in ancient Mardukite Babylon. Within these pages, the Seeker will discover instructions and rites given in two recently revised stand-alone “spellbooks”—Complete Book of Marduk by Nabu (containing Mardukite Liber-W, Z and parts of G) and The Maqlu Ritual Book (otherwise Mardukite Liber-M).

“To properly prepare the Seeker and introduce this work with integrity,” as Joshua Free explains in his preface, “I have also rewritten and updated material from Liber-E, the classic text released publicly as Magan Magic—from which I begin this anthology with an Introduction to Babylonian Magic. Finally—to complete our ‘Mardukite Core’ 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition trilogy, Liber-K, also known as Enochian Magic & Kabbalah, is featured as an appendix.”

While many other texts appear within the Mardukite Library, it is the original “Mardukite Core” that modern Mesopotamian movements build their foundations from—and while the Seeker is strongly encouraged to at least pursue the greater legacy represented by all three volumes of the newly restored “Core,” there is more than sufficient information supplied for personal and practical exploration of these esoteric mysteries within this current “grimoire” But—be warned, for I am entrusting to a Seeker this volume apart from the supporting literature as it stands; and without impunity. Yet—for those who have already accumulated and worked through our bulky pile of research tomes—this current edition will be welcomed and celebrated for its revolutionary accessibility.

Maqlu Tablets – Ancient Babylonian Magical Ceremony & Anti-Witchcraft Rituals Revealed on Cuneiform Records

IMAGINE A WORLD where the “Purge” is real! …except instead of gathering together in large festivals of humans killing humans, the spirit of all rage, anger, evil, pestilence, disease, worry–the very demons of civilization–are burned in effigy, exorcised and banished by public ceremonies–mass movements of conscious energy with world-changing intentions! The sacred Mardukite Babylonian rites and rituals from the “Maqlu” cuneiform tablet collection suggest just that!

[The remainder of this Mardukite blog post is excerpted from the newly revised and updated 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Mardukite Liber-M pocket hardcover — The Maqlu Ritual Book: A Pocket Companion to Babylonian Exorcisms, Banishing Rites & Protective Spells by Joshua Free — also appearing in the forthcoming anthologies: “Necronomicon-The Anunnaki Grimoire” (Hardcover, May 30) and “Practical Babylonian Magic” (Paperback, June 21).]

THE MAQLU RITUAL BOOK is a collector’s edition of a long-lost translated cuneiform tablet collection revealing the most ancient and complete guide to Babylonian spiritual and magical protection spells, exorcisms rites, and banishing rituals–right from the heart of Mesopotamia as used by Mardukite priests, priestesses and magicians of Sumerian Anunnaki tradition. It makes the perfect addition to any modern “Mesopotamian Neopaganism” library collection!

MAQLU TABLET 1

Within Joshua Free’s MAQLU RITUAL BOOK you will discover the most ancient and coveted complete magical manual concerning the Dark Arts ever known to man–newly translated and prepared by the “Mardukite Research Organization” for a special 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition. This tome celebrates a decade of intensive academic and esoteric exploration, drawn from the underground archives of “Mardukite Chamberlains,” and now accessible to the modern public for contemporary practice in an incredible new way for the first time ever.

Here is an authentic cuneiform tablet collection–perhaps the very first “spellbook” of its kind on the planet–the complete account of a Mesopotamian magical tradition that forms a “grimoire” of very real and very ancient Sumerian Anunnaki magic. “The Maqlu Ritual Book” reveals materials used by magicians and priests for thousands of years to reverse the effects of evil spells and curses, banish disease and nightmares, combat in wizards’ duels, and even conjure protection and blessings of the gods to benefit the entire community!

The Maqlu Ritual Tablets of Babylon… no mere “folk magic” or rural witches Book of Shadows, the Maqlu cuneiform tablet series was first in possession only of the highest orders of priest-scribes, temple-magicians, priestesses and kings of ancient Mesopotamia–the ancient “cradle of modern human civilization.” Maqlu magic was so powerful that the government of the greatest ancient empires in history employed it to ensure prosperous lands, happiness among the population, and carrying the awesome abilities to dispel chaos, evil, and malignant forces in the world–things we long for, and are in great need of, even today. Perhaps this long forgotten occult secret is the key!

“The complete “Maqlu” operation evolved from what was once probably a much simpler, mostly internalized, meditative and solitary protection ritual used by the earliest priests, priestesses and magicians in Mesopotamia. It later developed more dramatically as a public “Fire Festival” in Sumer and Babylonia, involving entire community populations gathered together in combined mass focuses of emotional and spiritual intention to “drive out” or dispel “evil” and “evil-doers” of the land. Here we see an ancient demonstration in effective abilities of mass-consciousness moving energies when large groups—or better, the majority of the population—focuses on a specific “emotional” event. Even as “quantum” events, the social effects carry very real ramifications for the consciousness of the population—and perhaps the greater cosmos as a whole in this entangled universe. So long as the event is properly orchestrated, the individuals need not even be aware of the exact esoteric nature of their participation.”
